Edition No. 004 Goose in the Wildflowers

Some collections are made for looking at. This one was made for taking along.

Goose in the Wildflowers celebrates the wonderfully ordinary things waiting along the trail: something blooming, something moving, something making noise, and all those little details you nearly walk right past.

Inspired by wandering geese, late-summer wildflowers, and time spent paying attention to the outdoors, this Trail Side Post edition pairs the artwork with a Pocket Field Notes card designed to accompany your own adventures.

As with every Wild Ridge Studio collection, the artwork began with time spent outside, careful observation, and hand-drawn illustration inspired by the trails and landscapes around the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.

This Archive Edition Includes

• One 4 × 6 fine art print featuring the original Goose in the Wildflowers illustration.
• One two-sided Pocket Field Notes card, illustrated on the front with simple observation prompts on the back for recording the things you notice along the trail.
• One surprise Trail Treasure

Frame the print, tuck the field notes into a journal or backpack, and take it with you the next time you head outside. You don't need to find anything extraordinary. The whole point is noticing what's already there.

About the Trail Side Archive

The Trail Side Archive is a collection of retired, early, and limited Wild Ridge Studio editions.

Some pieces were created while Trail Side Post was still taking shape. Others are seasonal releases that have returned in very limited quantities.

Once an Archive Edition sells out, it will not be restocked.

Each one is a small piece of the Wild Ridge story, created from the things found, noticed, and remembered along the way.
